Rare site of Guam Rail and egg
A breeding aggregation of Convict Tangs ("Acanthurus triostegus") swims over a reef of Staghorn coral in the Tumon Bay Marine Preserve, Ipao Beach.

A rare sight! A Guam Rail (ko'ko bird) nesting with her egg. For more information about DAWR's endeavors to reintroduce the Ko'ko, and other Guam birds, visit the Captive Breeding Programs.
